Before Your Appointment
Customer Information
Everything you need to know before, during, and after your service — written plainly, without the fine print.
Built on transparency.
These policies exist for one reason: to make sure every customer has a great experience. I want you to know exactly what to expect before your vehicle arrives, so there are no surprises and no misunderstandings. Honest communication, professional workmanship, and long-term relationships are what Mirror Finish is built on.
Licensed & insured
Mirror Finish Auto Revival is a fully licensed and insured business. Every vehicle that comes through the studio is treated with the same level of care and attention I would give my own — because your vehicle matters, and so does your trust.
Vehicle inspection
Every vehicle is visually inspected before work begins. If existing concerns are present, they may be documented before service starts — including photographs when appropriate. This protects both of us and ensures we're on the same page from the start. Concerns may include:
- Rock chips and paint scratches
- Dents and dings
- Paint failure or oxidation
- Rust or cracked trim
- Torn leather or interior damage
- Previous repairs or poor repaint work
- Wheel damage or windshield chips
Pre-existing damage
Mirror Finish is not responsible for existing damage, defects, or failing materials that were present before service began. Cleaning, polishing, or proper lighting can sometimes reveal imperfections that were previously hidden beneath dirt, oxidation, waxes, fillers, or contamination. The inspection process is designed to identify these concerns upfront whenever possible.
Detailing results
Every vehicle is different, and results vary based on the condition of each one. Some stains, scratches, odors, water spots, oxidation, pet hair, or contamination may be permanently embedded and cannot always be completely removed without replacement or repair. Paint correction significantly improves defects — but no process can safely eliminate every imperfection. Results depend on factors such as:
- Age and mileage
- Previous maintenance history
- Paint and clear coat condition
- Interior material condition
- Prior repairs or repaints
Safe correction practices
Paint correction is always performed within safe limits based on the condition of the paint and, when appropriate, paint thickness measurements. If additional polishing could remove excessive material or increase the risk of future paint failure, the correction process may be limited. The goal is always to achieve the best possible results while protecting the long-term health of your finish — not to chase perfection at the expense of your paint.
Ceramic coatings
Ceramic coatings require proper preparation, curing, and ongoing maintenance to perform at their best. Following all aftercare instructions is essential to achieving maximum durability and protection. Failure to follow aftercare recommendations may reduce coating performance over time.
Delicate materials & aging vehicles
Some vehicles contain aged, worn, or previously repaired materials that may not respond predictably to professional detailing. Mirror Finish uses professional techniques and products designed to minimize risk — but deteriorated materials may not withstand normal detailing procedures. Any concerns identified during inspection will be communicated before work proceeds whenever possible. This includes:
- Failing clear coat or oxidized single-stage paint
- Cracked or brittle plastics
- Worn leather or vinyl
- Delaminating trim or weak adhesives
- Loose emblems or moldings
- Previously repaired or repainted panels
Personal belongings
Please remove personal belongings from your vehicle before your appointment whenever possible. Mirror Finish is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items left inside the vehicle. This includes:
- Cash, jewelry, and valuables
- Firearms and prescription medication
- Important documents and electronics
- Garage door openers and toll transponders
- Loose change and collectibles
Child safety seats
Child safety seats will remain installed unless you specifically request removal for cleaning. If a seat is removed, you are responsible for confirming proper reinstallation before transporting children. When in doubt, please consult your seat's installation manual or a certified technician.
Aftermarket accessories
Mirror Finish is not responsible for failures involving existing aftermarket electronics or accessories. This includes remote starters, audio systems, dash cameras, alarm systems, custom lighting, radar detectors, and custom wiring. If you have concerns about a specific accessory, please mention it before service begins.
Biohazards
Mirror Finish reserves the right to decline or discontinue service on vehicles containing hazardous materials, including mold, bodily fluids, needles, animal waste, insect or rodent infestations, or chemical contamination. Some situations may require specialized remediation before detailing can begin. This policy exists to protect both the customer and the studio.
Estimates & pricing
Every estimate is based on the information available before inspection. Final pricing may change if the vehicle's condition differs significantly from what was originally described. Any changes will always be discussed and approved before additional work begins — no surprises.
Appointments
Please arrive on time whenever possible, and notify Mirror Finish as soon as you know if you need to reschedule. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may require a deposit before booking a future appointment. I understand that life happens — just communicate and we'll work it out.
Payment
Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Mirror Finish currently accepts:
- Cash

- Venmo
Vehicle pickup
Please plan to pick up your vehicle promptly after service is complete unless prior arrangements have been made. If you need extra time, just let me know in advance.
Photography
Mirror Finish may photograph vehicles before, during, and after service for documentation, quality control, and marketing purposes. If you prefer your vehicle not be featured in marketing materials, simply let me know before service begins — no questions asked.
Weather
Some services — particularly ceramic coatings — may be rescheduled if weather conditions could negatively affect quality or curing. Mirror Finish will always prioritize doing the job right over rushing to meet a deadline.
Customer satisfaction
If you ever have a concern about completed work, please reach out promptly so the issue can be reviewed. Mirror Finish believes in honest communication and standing behind the work. Customer satisfaction and long-term relationships are what this business is built on.
Here to do the job right.
These policies exist to ensure every customer receives consistent, professional service. If you ever have questions before your appointment, don't hesitate to reach out.
